Who We Are
A Lagos Island institution rooted in faith and excellence.
St. John's began in 1857 in a small shed within the church grounds. That shed gave way to a T-shaped building in 1870, later rebuilt as the three-storey school commissioned in 1954 — and we have remained on the same historic site ever since.
Across generations we have shaped many prominent Nigerians, combining a strong academic foundation with the Christian values of discipline, service, and perseverance.
